Technical question here: Is this 200MP sensor capable of outputting only 50MP photos? Is that the reason the phone offers only 2X zoom in spite of having such a high resolution sensor?

I am not the person you were talking to but i bought the phone new as well and it's rubbish. It lags, stutters, bugs, phone gets hot sometimes for no reason and so on. I really believe that the problems are coming from the chipset, i bought a Samsung A34 with the same chipset and it was having the same problems. Or the chip is not properly optimised or the chip is just another junk from Mediatek. But it can't be a hasard, two new phones and two phones with the same problems.

Yeah i got the a34 but it's worst than the Xiaomi unfortunately. I think the big problem in these 2 phones are the chip that is prolly poorly optimised or just bad, who knows ?
