Iv'e had the s22 for almost a year now and can assure you that the phone performance is top notch and the compability of this phone made it easier for me to carry around and fit in tight pockets and multitasking with the phone with a hand is amazing. The only downside to this phone is the battery. Sometimes had to charge the phone twice a day and I don't game on the phone at all. So, if you think you're a heavy user, do reconsider your decision before making your purchase of this phone.

My only problem with the S22 purchased Sept 2022 has been that light sources are severely blown out at night on all cameras, even front. Currently on Android 14, OneUI 6.0. No improvement from updates.
My S7 Active was perfect for night shots. The S22 is utterly worthless for anything with light sources in frame. I am very disappointed with this, but not worth returning the product. I have just given up on making interesting night photos.

Is it possible to switch lenses from 0.6x, 1x, 3x & front came DURING recording of 4K60 videos WITHOUT pausing/stopping the recording?

Samsung really f-ed up by giving the S22 smaller battery. Samsung tried to compensate with better optimizations but OneUI is no iOS in battery efficiency thats for sure. No wonder the S22 resale value drops faster when compared to S21.

Does S22+ use a crop & upscale from main sensor to record 3x zoomed videos at night(4K) or the regular telephoto lens? Can someone test by covering the telephoto lens and shooting a 3x zoomed night video?
